FutureEverything is a cultural agency crafting new ways of living with technology for human and planetary flourishing. Imagining, researching and prototyping alternative futures, our work explores the interplay between ecological crises, cultural narratives, and technological acceleration.
Through a programme of Creative R&D, Prototyping, and Artist Development, we catalyse, commission and collaborate with a global movement of artists and technologists committed to just relations with technology, approaching it as a material, political and relational practice.
Webs of Justice, is a declaration of FutureEverything’s responsibilities to Nature, that frames our Nature Directed commitment, and our creative vision.
The declaration is our guide for centering just relations with technology. It is a response to the urgent need to shift techno-scientific imagination beyond extractive and abstractive logics and instead support the flourishing of people and planet by foregrounding reconnection and repair.
FutureEverything is experimenting with a shared recitation Webs of Justice at each of our key meetings as a team and Board. The declaration is always accompanied by an expression of gratitude and attuning practices. By acknowledging the responsibilities in our Board meetings, the idea is to work towards the bigger vision they embody and to enter into dialogue with the power dynamics, logics and practices that underpin the obstacles to change.
The responsibilities are a roadmap for pathfinding technological creations that are in “right relation” with the Web of Life in the particular context that we work.
